10-Day Morocco Family Adventure Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca – Rabat
Welcome to Morocco! Your 10-Day Morocco Family Adventure begins when your driver meets you at Casablanca Mohammed V Airport. If your arrival time allows, visit the famous Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest and most beautiful mosques in the world. Located beside the Atlantic Ocean, it is one of Morocco’s most impressive landmarks.
After your visit, continue to Rabat, the capital city of Morocco. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a short walk before checking into your hotel.
Relax and prepare for the exciting journey ahead.

Day 2: Rabat – Chefchaouen (Blue City)
After breakfast, discover the highlights of Rabat. Visit the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the beautiful Kasbah of the Udayas, known for its white-and-blue streets and ocean views.
After lunch, continue through the beautiful Rif Mountains toward Chefchaouen, the famous Blue City of Morocco.
Spend the evening exploring the peaceful blue streets, shopping for handmade crafts, or relaxing in one of the town’s charming cafés.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes
On That day of your 10-Day Morocco Family Adventure. After breakfast, leave Chefchaouen and travel to Volubilis, one of the best-preserved Roman archaeological sites in North Africa and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Walk among ancient ruins, colorful mosaics, and historic buildings while learning about Morocco’s Roman past.
Next, continue to Meknes, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities. Visit the impressive Bab Mansour Gate, the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, and enjoy free time to explore the old medina.
Later in the afternoon, continue to Fes and check into your traditional riad.

Day 4: Guided Tour of Fes
Today, enjoy a guided tour of Fes, Morocco’s oldest imperial city and cultural capital.
Walk through the ancient medina with a local guide and visit famous landmarks including Al Quaraouiyine University, Bou Inania Madrasa, the Nejjarine Fountain, and the traditional leather tanneries.
Explore the colorful souks filled with spices, pottery, carpets, leather goods, and handmade crafts. You will also visit the Mellah, the historic Jewish Quarter, before enjoying panoramic views of the city from Borj Nord.
After the tour, return to your riad and relax.

Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, continue your 10-Day Morocco Family Adventure toward the Sahara Desert.
Your first stop is Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” because of its clean streets, gardens, and European-style buildings.
Next, travel through the cedar forest near Azrou, where you may see Barbary macaque monkeys in their natural habitat.
After lunch in Midelt, continue through the spectacular Ziz Valley, famous for its thousands of palm trees and breathtaking desert scenery.
By late afternoon, arrive in Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert.
Ride camels across the golden Erg Chebbi dunes while watching the sunset before arriving at your luxury desert camp.

Day 6: Merzouga Desert Excursion – Nomad Families – Khamlia – Camel Ride
Wake up early to enjoy a beautiful sunrise over the golden dunes of the Sahara Desert. After breakfast, begin an exciting 4×4 excursion around the Merzouga Desert.
During today’s adventure, you will visit local Berber nomad families who still live in traditional desert tents. Learn about their daily life, culture, and warm hospitality while enjoying a cup of Moroccan tea.
Next, continue to Khamlia Village, famous for its traditional Gnawa music. Enjoy a live performance and discover the unique history and culture of this peaceful desert village.
After lunch, you will have some time to relax before another unforgettable experience. In the late afternoon, ride your camel across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi while watching the spectacular desert sunset.
Arrive back at your luxury desert camp where a traditional Moroccan dinner awaits. Spend the evening listening to Berber music around the campfire while admiring the stars above the Sahara.

Day 7: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley
On day 7th of your 10-Day Morocco Family Adventure. After breakfast, leave the Sahara Desert and continue your family adventure toward the beautiful Dades Valley.
Your first stop is Rissani, a historic town known for its traditional market and delicious dates. If your visit falls on a market day, you will experience one of the most authentic local markets in southern Morocco.
Continue to Todra Gorge, one of Morocco’s most spectacular natural attractions. Walk through the narrow canyon surrounded by towering cliffs that rise more than 300 meters high.
After lunch, drive through small Berber villages and beautiful mountain landscapes before arriving in Dades Valley.
Relax at your hotel and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Day 8: Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
On day 8th of your 10-Day Morocco Family Adventure. After breakfast, continue through the beautiful Rose Valley, famous for its fragrant roses, local rose products, and the annual Rose Festival.
Drive through Skoura Oasis with its thousands of palm trees before reaching Ouarzazate, often called the “Hollywood of Morocco.”
Visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s best-preserved fortified villages. This ancient kasbah has appeared in many international films and television series.
After exploring the kasbah, cross the spectacular High Atlas Mountains through the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Stop along the way to admire the breathtaking mountain views and traditional Berber villages.
Arrive in Marrakech in the evening.

Day 9: Guided Tour of Marrakech
